Zoonami Title Revealed News

Heavily rumoured title from Goldeneye & Perfect Dark creator finally revealed, and we certainly didn’t expect this…
Exactly what ex-Rare head-honcho Martin Hollis and his team at Zoonami have been up to, has been the cause of much speculation amongst Nintendo fans during the last couple of years.
Having created both Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark, the natural assumption would be yet another first-person-shooter; however all of those suggestions were thrown out of the window recently, when Zoonami confirmed brief details on its first title.
Dubbed Funkydilla, the rhythm/action game is about as far removed as we could have possibly expected and certainly a contrast to the rumoured Game Zero believed to be underway at Zoonami; whilst early suggestions of a GameCube exclusive are far off the mark, as Hollis confirmed development on āall game platformsā.
Zoonami claim that Funkydilla represents a revolutionary approach to the genre, although we suspect Mizuguchi-san could have said the same thing about REZ. Early indications suggest that the game revolves around arranging vocal lines and phrases, which rise from the bottom of the screen to the top in random order; players have to re-arrange these to make it match in what appears to be a cross between Bust-A-Groove and Columns.
Sadly specific details are not yet known, except for the fact that the game will support 2P split-screen in both co-op and battle modes.
Fukydilla has yet to attract the attention of a publisher, however itās set to make its public debut at the forthcoming E3 event; weāll have more information soon.
