Zi Corp To Bring Predictive Text To PS3 Too News

Weeks after signing a deal with Nintendo, Zi Corp confirms eZiText technology is also a feature of PlayStation3...


Back in early November, a company called Zi Corp announced that it had licensed its eZiText predictive text technology to Nintendo for use in Wii - six weeks later and Zi Corp has confirmed that the same software is used in Sony's PlayStation3.

"PS3 is an amazing new product and using Zi's technology will enable PS3 users to quickly enter data, such as names, websites and text messages, into the on-screen keyboard of the system," said Milos Djokovic, President and CEO of Zi Corporation.

"Consumer technology products, from mobile phones to video game consoles, are all designed to offer users an enjoyable experience," said Djokovic. "At Zi, we are dedicated to developing innovative products that provide consumers with a more intuitive user interface for their technology device and we are really excited that our technology has been adopted by PS3."

lol it wont happen in 9 years, i take it youve been asleep for quite a while as the rest of the world knows there is a resession going on and people are less likely to buy new stuff as they dont know how long before there place of work shuts down cau... [ Read full comment... ]

this a good thing over 9 yrs it will happen folk wiil soon tire of wii's and the xbox(which is nearly all shooters, fun 4 a while, but ps3 does more in all ways

lol just how does sony expect the ps3 to sell more than the ps2 is a bit dumb considering the ps2 is still selling bucket loads across the world and with 120 more titles expected to hit the ps2 this year is it a real objective to shift over 140 milli... [ Read full comment... ]

not true. mine jumped 50 to 100 and i have had no problems since the update. i just hope that theres patches coming out for trophies soon...
