ZOE GBA Confirmed For US News

Konami confirm their plans to bring the port of their PlayStation2 hit to the GameBoy Advance.
Zone of the Enders 2173: Testament will be released in America during the second quarter of 2002. Previously it was unknown whether the title would actually make it out in the west.
Unlike the PlayStation2 version of the game, which would be almost impossible to port to the GameBoy Advance with any success, ZOE on the GBA will be turn based. Although Konami are still calling it an action game things seem rather more like a strategy game. You get control not only of the flying mechs - called LEVs - but also trucks, tanks and fighters. You have to plan your moves in advance and keep track of your units making sure you upgrade and customise them for maximum effectiveness. Experienced units will be more accurate and efficient the rookies, things like this will have to be taken into account.
The plot follows a young boy called Cage who accidentally ends up piloting a LEV and fighting for not only his life, but those in the Mars underground resistance as well. As well as fighting to survive Cage must solve the mystery of a bigger, faster more badass LEV that wants his unit destroyed.
Hopefully we will see more of this game at Spaceworld as it sounds like it could be a very compelling game.
