Rumours suggest Microsoft’s planned subscription service could find its way onto the Xbox 360...
Microsoft has recently confirmed plans to offer a subscription service to its existing MSN Music store, leading to suggestions that it could feature on the Xbox 360.
The monthly subscription service bears close similarities to Napster and other download applications, while at the same time reportedly featuring playlist-sharing technology to replicate the current trend of file-sharing and the ability to play songs purchased and featuring unique security encoding from the iTunes store.
An official comment has yet to be made on the service, let alone whether or not this will feature on the Xbox 360; however given changes to the Xbox Live service such as the recent pairing with Limelight Networks, surely the transfer of media is a must for the 360 as it begins the battle of the living room with Sony and the PS3.
