Taiwanese firm announces to US publication its plans to increase Xbox 360 production...
As the race to improve supply of the Xbox 360 ahead of further launches in the coming months, one manufacturing company has announced to the Wall Street Journal its plans to improve production capacity over the next twelve months.
Speaking to the daily newspaper, Wistron Corp. Chairman Simon Lining confirmed that his company is expected to increase production to 30 million units by mid-2007, although the figure also includes servers, and laptop computers. An exact figure for the number of Xbox 360 consoles is unknown.
