Xbox 360 HD DVD Drive For European Price Drop??? News

The rumours mimic Microsoft's procedure for US and European price drops on Xbox 360 SKUs last month...
News leaking out of a consumer electronics fair in Germany (IFA) suggests that Microsoft intend to reduce the price of their HD DVD Drive in Europe by 20 euros. Reports from eFluxMedia suggest that the reduction will drop the European price to 180 euros, following a near identical reduction of $199.99 to $179.99 in North America last month.
This echoes the procedure Microsoft undertook in making European price reductions to their three Xbox 360 SKUs upon the release of the Elite model. The Elite was £30 cheaper than expected, the Premium model took a £30 price drop, while the Core system was reduced by £20. This mimicked the $50 price drops seen on all three units in North America a fortnight earlier.
