Xbox 360 Dashboard Update Tomorrow - Confirmed News

The ghosts, ghouls, and Xbox 360 updates are out tomorrow for Halloween...


Microsoft has confirmed that the Fall Update (or the "HD-DVD/1080p" Update as we've taken to calling it) will be released from tomorrow at 10am GMT.

Top of the list will of course be the high-definition upgrade, which will bring the Xbox 360 inline with PlayStation3. Compatibility is also a key part of the Fall Update, allowing support for the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel, HD-DVD drive, and the Wireless Headset.

Further tweaks allow for XNA Studio Express code to be run, video playback from Windows XP PCs (at last!), and a Friends Leaderboard.

i bought a ps3 and i HAVE not looked back. even if alot of the games don't utilise it's 8 core (just for you 360 fanboys that's 6 core more than your pathetic dual core) processor well but in time they will. i think the 360 is at it's peak and won't ... [ Read full comment... ]
