The departing MD of Microsoft Japan lets slip one singular detail on Xbox2.


In a recent Famitsu article, the departing Managing Director of Microsoft of Japan let slip some details regarding the Xbox2. Hirohisa Ohura will be joining Microsoft of America in the New Year, in order to teach the company about Japanese business principles in the hope to strengthen Japanese support for Xbox2.

Unfortunately the only specific information that Ohura would announce, is that the Xbox2 would feature a smaller & slicker design to the Xbox, which would find greater appeal amongst Japanese gamers.

Weâll keep our highly-trained noses in the air for further Xbox2 rumours and reports.

oh yeah just for the record the chip intel are working on is a 16 core chip possibly even going as far as a 32 core either way the next xbox will have all the features of the ps3 and more (though xbox live still wont be free i dont have a problem wit... [ Read full comment... ]
