Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. With no true Emperor, the gates to Oblivion (the equivalent of hell in the world of Tamriel) open, and demons begin to invade Cyrodiil and attack its people and towns. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.

Xbox360 Titles No HDD Required News

Confirmation that all Xbox360 titles will play on the basic setup with the exception of MMORPGs...


Since yesterdayâs Xbox360 announcement fears over the lack of a HDD in the âCoreâ option and how this will affect games has today been addressed, with confirmation that ALL Xbox360 titles must play without a HDD.

Itâs believed the only exception to this rule will be data-hogging MMORPGs, although titles such as Bethesdaâs mighty The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will benefit from the addition of the HDD extensively.

Speaking to Game Informer, Bethesda Executive Producer Todd Howard suggests that developers have known about this since day one and claims that the HDD will optimise load times and various other areas.

Oblivion does not support XBOX Live. It's just you and the vast beuatiful universe of Cyrodiil.

in case anyone else whonders...to summon the deadra Hermaeus Mora, you must complete all the other daedric missions.... I only needed one, and that was Namira!!! I dindn't know how to summon her...but now I know!! your personality must 20 or lower...... [ Read full comment... ]

no need, I figured it out:)... and by the way anonymous...if you want to kill a ghost, then use a daedric, silver, ebony or magic weapon...

Hi I was Able to play xbox live with alot of my sports games ( for example fight night ) because its in the games main menu but for oblivion i cant figure out how to play live, i click the live banner on dashboard nothing happens. Help please!
