Third-party publisher includes a "certain" Microsoft trademark...
Even though itâs one of the worst kept secrets in the industry, it appears that a third-party publisher has today confirmed the name of Microsoftâs next-gen machine as âXbox360â ahead of the consoleâs official unveiling on MTV USA tonight.
At the bottom of a press release, the typically standard disclaimer stated that:
âXbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox Live are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and/or other countries.â
Although an obvious faux-pas on the part of the publisher, the news wonât worry Microsoft too much as attention begins to turn towards the MTV presentation which is broadcast tonight in the US and tomorrow night in the UK.
