The Consumer Electronics Association confirms Bill Gates as keynote speaker; sets tongues wagging about Xbox2…
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has today confirmed that Bill Gates, Chairman and Chief-Software Architect Microsoft Corp, will deliver the Pre-Show keynote address for the 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Although the CES event has become less orientated towards videogames across the years, the fact that Gates used the event in the past to debut a wide range of products including the original Xbox, has sent rumours alight suggesting that Xbox2 *could* make its first appearance during the presentation.
Whilst itâs a distinct possibility, the fact that Gates has become a regular attendee of the event suggests that we shouldnât read too much into this â“ at this stage at least.
The 2005 International CES event runs between January 6-9th; weâll have more information soon.
