Blizzard confirms that the forthcoming expansion to the world's most popular MMO will be released in both a standard and Collector's Edition...


Following what seems to be an increasing trend with high-profile titles, Blizzard Entertainment has today confirmed that World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, will be released in a Collector's Edition alongside the standard version of the game.

The first expansion to the MMO, The Burning Crusade Collector's Edition will feature a number of bonus items, including a CD of the game's soundtrack, an exclusive in-game Netherwhelp pet, a Behind the Scenes DVD, and two starter packs for the World of Warcraft Trading Card game.

A price for the Collector's Edition, and a release date, will be announced in the future.

Besides the random spam, WoW is a decent game but now WAY too casual. It used to be fun being one of the server first with a 1337 item but now everyone pretty much has everything short of arena gear... not fun anymore.
