World In Conflict: Soviet Assault

You need to be logged in to track this game

World in Conflict presents a chillingly authentic Cold War scenario where the Berlin Wall never fell. The story begins in 1989 as the Soviets, fearing certain collapse, boldly advance into Europe. NATO responds in force only to be met on a second front -- a full-fledged invasion of the American homeland. Players take on the role of field commander, leading the era's most powerful military machines in the campaign to retake America's cities and suburbs.

Massive Entertainment's eagerly awaited RTS on its way to Microsoft's console...

It seems as though the most anticipated RTS title of the year is on its way to the Xbox 360, with sightings and reports of Vivendi and Massive Entertainment's World in Conflict surfacing on Microsoft's console.

Home to a handful of attempts from EA in the past, World in Conflict' emphasis on fast-paced action and FPS camera certainly suits itself to a console pad more so then the likes of Battle for Middle-Earth and Command & Conquer 3.

Although Vivendi has yet to confirm the version, TVG understands that development on the 360 version is already at an advanced stage and expects the official announcement to occur very shortly.

Are you serious? The graphics are better on a console?? If you believe that you have been living in the dark your whole life. The nature of the PC, is that it is continuously updated, as opposed to a console, which is updated every 3 years or so. Th... [ Read full comment... ]

But the graphics are better on consoles, since they are built for gaming, besides controls are easy to learn also, just look at CNC 3 and BFME2.

RTS's on a PC is better. You are more accurate, way faster, easier to pump out units and command them than a noobstick.
