KCEJ President confirms that the team are already working on a handful of new ideas for the fourth title in the series...


Despite their once being claims that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater would be the last title in the series from Hideo Kojima, recent comments attributed to Motoyuki Yoshioka President and Representative Director Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, have suggested that the team are already collecting ideas for Metal Gear Solid 4.

Speaking during a conference, Yoshioka-san confirmed that the team have been working on a few ideas for the fourth instalment for some time, although naturally specifics on these were not made.

Whether or not MGS4 proves to be the fabled online project or not remains in doubt, however weâll be sure to chase up any further details that become apparent.

I'm a little confused. Was Mr. Kojima going to end his highly acclaimed MGS franchise with the grand finale of having Solid Snake ascend up into heaven in a flying Porshe? Very interesting.

I dont really care how good it looks as long as it plays well.I think the best in the series is Solid on ps1.it plays great and and has a great story.stick to that and all is well in my book.Besides it will hit the 360 in a year or two.lol.be well al... [ Read full comment... ]

again.... it doesn't matter what console you use, its up to the developers to bring the goods...After all, what good is an xbox or ps3 if the games are no good. Stop arguing about which console is best, and just enjoy the games
