Blizzard release movies depicting the new weather conditions and screens from the Lunar New Year festivities...

Blizzard today released movies and screenshots depicted the atmosphere enhancing weather effects that are set to be added to World of Warcraft in the forthcoming patch.

We're fans of the small things at TVG and there's little denying that walking across the snowy plains of Dun Moragh will be enhanced by low visibility during a blizzard, or perhaps fishing in the rain within the depths of Elwyn Forest.

In addition Blizzard have released screenshots of the recent Lunar New Year festivities, which found players traipsing across Azeroth in a treasure-hunt scenario trying to find Elders and cashing in on the rewards. Of course those brave enough (or foolish) can attempt to face the two-headed hound from hell in the shape of Omen, but remember the event is finishing on Febraury 13th, culminating in one final fireworks show over Lake Elune'ara.

TVG will have more on World of Warcraft and the forthcoming Burning Crusade expansion pack soon.

Either way, it won't be long before we find out if our Mages, Warriors, and Draenei will have to pack for arctic conditions... that sounds so stupid... draenies suck n they r a race not a class

Wow is designed in such a manner that you HAVE to commit immense number of hours into the game in order to actually achieve anythuing. All the items you will get in drops will be 2-5 levels lower. The game is designed in codepency and farming tons of... [ Read full comment... ]

It's silly to call one MMO is better than another. They are all designed to target different market shares and niches. Thats like going to a women's shoestore and complaining that their are no boots. It is not the stores fault, it is yours.
