Winning Eleven 8 Offline – First Screens News

It looks as though Winning Eleven/Pro Evo fans will have to wait a little longer for online play…
Konami today revealed the first selection of screens and specific information for the forthcoming Winning Eleven 8.
Sadly no mention of an online mode was made in the Japanese report, suggesting that fans will have to wait a little longer or perhaps it will make an appearance in the Xbox version.
Elsewhere itâs pretty much what we had already learnt; Winning Eleven 8 will feature 138 domestic clubs with an increase in official names and likenesses for clubs from the Spanish, English, Italian, French, Dutch and German leagues, whilst national teams will bring this closer to 200; improved dribbling and long-ball passing systems and an enhanced Master League mode to truly bring out the manager in you.
Winning Eleven 8 is scheduled for release in Japan on August 5th; currently Konami have refused to comment on what European can expect when it makes the translation to Pro Evolution Soccer 4, however you can be sure that as soon as they open their lips weâll be there.
