Eidos opens the website to its comedy animal duo platformer...
Eidos today announced the launch of the official website to the forthcoming PS2 and Xbox platformer â“ âWhiplashâ.
Currently in development at Crystal Dynamics, players take control of Spanx, a crazy, electro-shocked weasel and Redmond, a know-it-all, make-up tested rabbit who find themselves chained together and thrown in a cage, with the plan of fusing them both together to form a freaky new half rabbit/half weasel creature â“ think âPinky and the Brainâ for inspiration.
As Spanx players must use Redmond as a weapon of mass destruction and a vital tool for escape from the evil corporation; such features of this dynamic include clogging a toilet with Redmond to create a foul flood, or inflating him like a balloon to access unreachable areas.
We caught a brief glimpse of âWhiplashâ in action at E3 and came away suitably impressed, hopefully Crystal Dynamics can fuse the comical humour with some deep puzzles that make full use of the duo dynamic; weâll have a âFirst Lookâ at the title later in the month.
