WB/DC Comics To Release Justice In 2006 News

Superhero RPG set to arrive on Xbox and PlayStation2 in 2006...
Warner Brothers and DC Comics have announced that Justice League of America is set to be launched on Xbox and PlayStation2 in Autumn 2006. The game, a role-playing title, is set to feature several trademark superheroes from the DC Comics back catalogue including Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and the Green Lantern.
Featuring character-unique abilities, Justice League of America will allow one-to-two co-operative battles throughout a series of interactive and destructible environments, although an exact breakdown of the game is yet to be released by the two companies.
"We are excited to announce a videogame that will bring the legendary super heroes of the 'Justice League of America' to the next level for gamers," said Jason Hall, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "The innovative and highly engaging combat system in the 'Justice League of America' game will capture the strength and appeal of the characters, offering players a tremendously fun and rewarding experience."
"The joy of the 'Justice League' as a game is the chance to be your favorite [sic] characters and to interact with the rest of the team in the rich fantasy world of the DC universe," said Paul Levitz, President & Publisher of DC Comics.
This is the second title to include the DC Comic superheroes following the announcement made by Sony Online Entertainment and DC that a MMORPG for PCs and the next-generation consoles is currently in development.
