Megaforce, Red Baron and Battlestar Galactica form part of the 'short-term' gaming package for Vivendi...
Cited in their June report to the United States SEC, Vivendi Games has laid out its plans to release numerous so-called 'short-term' titles on PC and Xbox Live Arcade from the end of 2006 onwards.
Though specific release dates haven't been released, the company confirmed that it would be bringing two titles to both platforms before the end of 2006 - Megaforce and 3D Ultra MiniGolf. It's unclear whether the former will be an adaptation of the 1982 game Magaforce, released on the Atari 2600.
Three titles have already been slated for 2007, Battlestar Galactica, Incredible Machine, and Red Baron, whilst a further seven 'short-term' titles are also expected to be released in the same twelve month period.
2007 will also see the release of the Asian market skewed 'Crash Online', based on a certain infamous bandicoot.
Vivendi Games becomes the latest publisher to show an interest in Microsoft's XLA platform, following the likes of Capcom, and Midway who are using Arcade to re-release old favourites such as Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat.
We'll have more news on these titles as we get closer to their release dates.
