SCEE witholds entire allocation of Downforce until Virgin cough up- Full details inside !!!
Reports today suggested that SCEE are holding the Virgin Interactive Playstation2 title, Downforce, until they can look for a buyer to offshoot the debts owed to them by Virgin Interactive.
Virgin Interactive and its parent companies Titus and Interplay are currently going through major troubles; itās claimed that staff are leaving in their droves because of unpaid wages since December, whilst itās true that TVG itself has also become a victim of Virginās situation, with unpaid invoices dating back to early last year!!!
Unfortunately amidst all of this is a fun racer that may never see the light of day; weāve met the chaps at SmartDog who developed the game and seriously hope that they do not get dragged down because of the situation.
If anyone has any ideas for holding Virgin Interactive to ransom let us know; the funniest entry will win a free game courtesy of TVG.
