Having endured poor sales for recent titles, Capcom fail to get enough copies to Japanese shop shelves...
Presumably worried by the low sales generated from its recent titles, Capcom today had to apologise to the Japanese gaming community for not shipping enough copies of âViewtiful Joeâ to shop shelves.
A quick look at the Japanese Charts reveals that the GameCube title entered the Top.10 at No.5 having sold a respectable 32,767 copies; however talk in Japan suggests that gamers have been searching high and low for a copy, as the limited run literally ran out in hours.
By way of the Official Viewtiful Joe web site, Capcom have assured gamers that more copies will be available as of next week.
Weâre looking forward to checking out Viewtiful Joe in a little more depth; since the games unveiling alongside the infamous âProduction 5â announcement, weâve been intrigued by its stunning looks and innovative gameplay, whilst a quick playtest at E3 certainly raised our interest; weâll have more on Viewtiful Joe soon.
