Japanese rumours suggest the possibility of a 2P mode and substantially more incredible special attacks…
OK so itâs probably way too early to begin talking about âViewtiful Joe 2â; however the mere mention of its name alone is enough to turn us into dribbling idiots, so we thought weâd bring you a round-up of further âallegedâ information known about the title.
Unconfirmed reports from Japan suggest that the title will offer a two-player mode, in which one player takes control of Joe whilst the other assumes the role of his girlfriend Sylvia. Whilst this is quite possibly the best videogame news weâve heard this year, it certainly gets better; if youâre willing to believe the rumours then the move list will be substantially increased upon the original and include a variety of special attacks that require both players to work together to carry them out successfully.
Once again it must be mentioned that âViewtiful Joe 2â has not been officially announced by Capcom, so until then all information is purely speculative â“ letâs just keep our fingers crossed that these rumours hold some truth.
