Vice City in Toned Down Shock!!! News

Despite being over a year old ‘Vice City’ still manages to scout controversy wherever it goes; the latest comes with a retraction from both Rockstar Games and their parent company Take-Two Interactive, along with the omission of certain scenes from all future copies of ‘Vice City’<br><br>The issue in question revolves around a scene in ‘Vice City’ where Tommy Vercetti is challenged to ‘Kill all the Haitians’ on bequest of the Cuban gang; naturally it’s not the only moment in the game where some people could take offence, however the New York Haitian-American community has done just that.<br><br>Seeking the assistance of Michael Bloomberg, New York Mayor, Bloomberg has threatened legal action against the companies if the phrase wasn’t removed. It hasn’t taken long for him to get a response, as Take-Two today confirmed that the ‘objectionable statements’ will be removed from all future copies and apologised for any ‘hurt and anger’ that the game caused; however the publisher defended its right to release games for the adult market, citing its classification rating in defence.<br><br>Who next???<br>
