VU Games Posts 88% Revenue Increase News

By Jon Wilcox on 03/11/2005 First nine months of 2005 sees Vivendi-Universal Games post massive revenue increases...

VU Games has today announced revenues of 396 million Euros (£268.6 million) for the first nine months of 2005, an 88% increase over the same period last year. Citing the global success of World of Warcraft as the primary reason for the increases, VUG has also attributed the promising sales of Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction developed by Radical.

The third quarter of 2005 has seen Vivendi-Universal experience revenue increases of 151% over the same quarter in 2004. The figure of 158 million Euros (£107.2 million) has been attributed to WoW, Hulk, and the North American release of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and FlatOut which were both distributed by VUG.

We’ll have more on VU Games shortly…
