In light of the unstoppable success of Blizzard's World of Warcraft, Vivendi-Universal Games today announced a restructuring of its global sales structure to build upon the retail performance of Blizzard and Sierra titles.

Bringing 20 years of sales, marketing and general management experience on 4 continents in videogames and packaged goods, former Managing Director for VU Games Australia, Pascal Brochier, will assume the new position of Executive Vice President, Global Sales.

The global sales team currently in place will report directly to Brochier, who will also be responsible for VU Games retail business in Asia. Phil O'Neil, President and COO, has also been elected to explore opportunities outside of VU games.
