Infogrames today confirmed that an Xbox version of the popular Playstation2 racer V-Rally 3 is in the works. Eden Studios have gone back to the drawing board with the conversion, drastically improving the visual engine and adding a wide range of GeForce 3 special effects:<br><br>"V-Rally 3 on Xbox is not a lazy port of the PlayStation 2 version. The great work done on the handling and the in-game special effects gives VRally 3 its own distinctive identity on Xbox and is a great way to introduce this legendary racing franchise on to a great console." said Larry Sparks, Vice President of European Marketing.<br><br>The team have also twiddled with the control system to improve its responsiveness, and finally added the ability to save games to the Xbox HDD.<br><br>V-Rally 3 is scheduled for a European release on the Xbox in April 2003; we’ll have more information soon but until then make sure to check out the first screens.<br>
