SF fans in America set to get Streetfighter III 3rd Strike alongside Hyper Streetfighter II Turbo…
Streetfighter can widely be considered as a franchise that truly pushed gaming forwards; any true gamer should be able to remember the first time they laid eyes upon the magnificence of Streetfighter II, whilst fanatics became hooked on every single update that Capcom (and others) could muster.
So itās certainly a sad time to see the once mighty franchise begin to loose some of its appeal; ask casual gamers and stare blankly at their response āWhatās Streetfighter???ā ā“ itās enough to make your blood boil.
However, thankfully Streetfighter fans can today cheer as rumours were confirmed that a pack consisting of Hyper Streetfighter II Turbo and Streetfighter III 3rd Strike will be released in America.
Hyper Streetfighter II Turbo has previously been announced (and released in Japan) to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Streetfighter II; however not many got to sample the subtle delights of SFIII, making this a great opportunity to rediscover one of the most popular videogame franchises of all-time.
Itās yet to be confirmed whether this bundle will be released in Europe; currently there are plans to release Hyper Streetfighter II Turbo alongside Streetfighter II: The Animated Movie as a free DVD ā“ letās just hope we get 3rd strike as well.
