EA Mythic to give the MMO a visual face-lift for PC gamers in 2007...


Electronic Arts has announced an overhaul of long-standing MMORPG, Ultima Online, ahead of a re-release in 2007. Taking in new graphics, interface, and content, Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn will also form a new expansion pack for the game that will see the introduction of a new playable race.

"It's been nine years since Ultima Online first proved that online games could be very popular," said EA Mythic General Manager, Mark Jacobs. "And now, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the UO team and the support of the players over the years, a new day is dawning for this groundbreaking game."
