Ubisoft tie up a deal with Fox Interactive to bring more Monkeys to everyone.
Ubisoft today announced a deal with Fox Interactive and Visiware to publish games based on The Planet of the Apes license.
The game will be firstly available on the PC (September 2001), and followed in November on the Gameboy Colour and Gameboy Advance.
The games are based on an original story that is set to link the first film, âPlanet of the Apesâ and the second film, âBeneath the Planet of the Apesâ and draws upon the richness of the novel, the classic films and the recent Tim Burton remake.
âSigning with Visiware and Fox, a well-known partner in the movie and interactive industries, enables Ubi Soft to pursue its strategy of creating games from strong propertiesâ, said Alain Corre, Managing Director for Europe, Asia Pacific and South America, Ubi Soft Entertainment. âThe games are sure to surprise and thrill even the most diehard fans of Planet of the Apes!â
