Ubisoft Takes To Skies With Over G Fighters News

French publisher continues ties with Taito for Xbox 360 flight combat...
Ubisoft's relationship with legendary Japanese developer Taito continued today with the announcement of Over G Fighters for the Xbox 360.
Threatening world peace and security, Over G Fighters finds players stepping into some of the most powerful jet fighters ever conceived, battling against a terrorist organisation for aerial supremacy in dogfights above Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
Over 30 different fighter jets are promised in the final game, including F-22A Raptor, F-15E Strike Eagle, F-16C Fighting Falcon, F/A-18C Hornet, Su-27 Flanker, MiG-29A Fulcrum, and F-117A Nighthawk.
A primary mission with interlocking sub-missions structures the 80+ missions to be found within the game, along with Xbox Live support for up to eight players in a variety of head-to-head or co-operative game types.
"With Over G Fighters, Ubisoft is delivering one of the most comprehensive and accurate flight titles ever created," said Tony Key, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft. "Harnessing the power of the Xbox 360TM, Over G Fighters depicts a precise recreation of the world's most distinguished jet fighters in battle and further demonstrates Ubisoft's strength in the next-generation air combat genre."
A release period for Over G Fighters has yet to be confirmed, so expect further details to appear on TVG shortly...
