By Jon Wilcox on 14/12/2007 Assassin's Creed sells over 2.5 million copies in four weeks worldwide, with 5 million copies expected by the end of fiscal year...Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed has sold over 2.5 million copies globally in just four weeks, with the publisher expecting that figure to rise beyond 5 million by the end of the 2007-08 fiscal year on March 31st 2008.
The fastest selling new brand in videogaming across the US ever, Assassin's Creed nonetheless widely split the gaming press down the middle when it launched in November.
Yves Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer of Ubisoft, stated: "With the exceptional performance of Assassin's Creed(tm), the fastest-selling new video game intellectual property in the US ever, Ubisoft's teams have once again demonstrated their expertise in creating and promoting major brands."
"These regular-sequel franchises are a source of very high profitability both in the short and long term. Drawing on its strong internal development capacities, Ubisoft is currently in an ideal position to continue to develop numerous new creations - an essential condition for winning market share and ensuring strong growth going forward."
The publisher has also confirmed that it has upwardly revised its financial results for the full fiscal year to 840 million Euros, from earlier expectations of 825 million Euros.

if your considering getting a 360 get Halo 3 and Gears of War before this because those are the Best games for the console. This game is alright not as good as halo and gow though.

the storyline is good and the graphics are awesome but the game structure is repetitive boring, and ultimately disappointing. It will however make a lot of money and the developers have blatantly spent more time on the storyline and the development of sequels than the actual content of the game itself.
