Ubisoft today released the first screens and details from Ghost Recon: Island Thunder, the second expansion-pack to the popular PC FPS.
Set in Cuba in the near future, Fidel Castro is dead and the first free-election in decades is thrown into turmoil by a drug-funded warlord. Itās your role as a member of the Ghosts to go in and destroy the rebel forces and their mercenary leaders and secure the elections for a free Cuba.
The game offers eight new single-player missions set across the island of Cuba, along with a variety of vehicles and Cuban weapons to use, youāll also find yourself dropping into the warzone by helicopter.
Itās not just the single player mode that has been added to, oh no, the game will ship with five new dedicated multiplayer maps, 12 new multiplayer weapons including the M4 SOCOM rifle and the MM-1 automatic grenade launcher and two new multiplayer modes.
Ghost Recon: Island Thunder is scheduled for release in November, weāll have more on this soon.
