Ubisoft Announce Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter Delay News

Here's one title that certainly won't be making the 360's impending launch line-up...

The finalised launch line-up for the Xbox 360 is beginning to take shape by deductive means, as Ubisoft today confirmed a February 2006 release for Tom Clancyâs Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Previously there had been some hope that the impressive title in the award-winning military shooter series would make the launch; however that has today been blown out of the water with Ubisoft confirming the 2006 worldwide release.

Itâs claimed that additional time will allow the multi-development studio to create the best episode ever of the Ghost Recon series, allowing the teams the opportunity to continue optimising the application of Xbox 360 technology.

âIn Tom Clancyâs Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighterâ¢, players will be able to truly immerse themselves as soldiers of the future,â said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft North America. âThis game will continue the tradition of setting the bar for intense multiplayer action and cutting-edge technology. X05 attendees experienced the stunning results of the work Ubisoftâs award-winning studios have done in perfecting innovative multiplayer content and taking advantage of next-generation capabilities.â

The delay of the game will have no impact on Ubisoftâs revenue forecasts for the fiscal year but will likely cause a few concerns at Microsoft Games Studios.

They're only co-op missions online...go to the multiplayer mode and you'll it there...

how do you play the extra missions that i have downloaded through x box live is it only online or can you play them as single player every time i switch my xbox 360 on & look for it i can't find it
