Ubisoft has today confirmed it's to bring the Tokyo racing title, Import Tuner Challenge, exclusively to Xbox 360 during Autumn 2006. The game, which has been developed by Japanese outfit, Genki, features authentic Tokyo streets and highways and highly customisable vehicles.
Over four hundred opponents are included in the game, which will also have Xbox Live multiplayer support for online races.
"Import Tuner Challenge brings unprecedented car customisation and speed to the racing genre," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "The game offers more tuning possibilities than any other street-racing game to date on Xbox 360 and will submerge players into Tokyo's thrilling underground."
Import Tuner Challenge is the Westernised version of the long-running Japanese racing franchise Tokyo Xtreme Racer (Shutoku Battle), which first began life on SEGA Dreamcast in 1999.
