Amended release schedule sticks HAZE back into a broader May launch...


Well that didn't last for very long.

Coming just hours after launching a release schedule dating HAZE for May 22nd, Ubisoft has posted an updated list that places the Free Radical Design shooter back into a broader 'May' period.

Adding that a finalised release date will be coming in due course (what's the bet it'll be between May 21st and May 23rd???), let's just hope that the move is just Ubisoft covering a slip up and not a precursor to another delay for the title.

We'll have a full hands on preview of HAZE's single-player and co-operative game modes next week.

this game will not beat halo, it will probably about the same or a little worse because the online does not look to good. The campain though looks to be the best part about it and that paert will be better than halo. Killzone 2 will beat halo thoug... [ Read full comment... ]

Is Haze having vehicles in multiplayer (non-campaign cooperative) mathches? I want to drive a truck while my buddies use its guns to kill you all in Team death match.

According to the author's preview the graphic and AI is only average...this is really a pity since I was expecting them as strong points as advertised before.

Haze will be so much better than Halo. Halo is a peice of S&*t game. The only reason Halo is so big is that it was the first of its kind to have 4 player multiplayer. The solo play is worthless. Even the multiplayer sux!

-Haze is being made by Free Radical, not Ubisoft.
-It got delayed because balnancing two completely different sides for Multiplayer takes a while.
-Haze is gonna be awesome.

TBH I think they're all dated and uninspired, I'm looking for a true next-gen shooter and think only Far Cry 2 and KillZone 2 have any chance of accomplishing that.
