By Jon Wilcox on 23/11/2005 Two further PSP titles announced as Sony Online and Ubisoft extend publishing agreement...With PSP titles FRANTIX and Gripshift set to make their debut in Europe, Australia and Asia in the next few weeks, Ubisoft and Sony Online Entertainment have announced that they are to extend their agreement with the release of two further games for the portable system in Spring 2006. Whilst details on both titles are sparse, itâs known that Field Commander is a turn-based strategy title in a âmilitary settingâ, whilst Untold Legends: The Warriorâs Code is the follow-up to Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade, which was released by Activision earlier in the year.
"We are pleased to work with Ubisoft to bring two new and exciting titles to the PSP," said Chris Sturr, Senior Brand Manager, Sony Online Entertainment. "Untold Legend: the Warrior's Code is the follow up to one of the top-selling PSP titles of all time, and Field Commander is the first military turn-based strategy game for the PSP. Both titles offer compelling game play experiences that will appeal to casual and hardcore gamers alike."
"These two new titles reinforce our growing catalog [sic] of PSP games," said Alain Corre, Ubisoft's Executive Director for Europe, Middle East and Asia. "SOE is innovating once again for the PSPTM, and we are very happy to be associated with the distribution of these two future hits."
Weâll have further details of both titles in the following weeksâ¦
