Although it was strongly hinted in recent French reports, Ubisoft chief, Yves Guillemot, left the stage at UbiDays 2008 last night with a teasing trailer that confirmed the development of Beyond Good & Evil 2 - even if a logo wasn't present.

The follow up to the 2003 original, according to a JeuxVideo with Michel Ancel last week, has been in pre-production for the last twelve months, and will look to the future of Planet Hillys.

Rumours of a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil have been appearing across the web for quite some time, with speculation back in 2006 that the adventures of Jade & Pey'j were set to continue.
