Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free, and with the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows.

TIME magazine reveals Wii functionality details in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess...


In their forthcoming issue on May 15th, US Publication TIME will be detailing some of the Nintendo Wii functionality in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, although certain details from the report have already managed to get online.

Rumours that the GameCube title would have 'Revolution' functionality started back in November 2005, when Nintendo delayed the release of the title although it took until February 2006 for confirmation to be made in the form of Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Amie.

In the issue, which also mentions a Wii version of Warioware, reporters at TIME were able to use the controller for a number of activities including aiming a bow and arrow, fighting with a sword, and even fishing, before going on to describe the high level of immersion created as a result.

Official word on the Twilight Princess' Wii functionality is sure to be detailed by Nintendo later in the week; we'll have more news shortly...
