Canis Canem Edit takes the Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking, innovative, original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling to an entirely new setting: the schoolyard. As a troublesome schoolboy, you'll laugh and cringe as you stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks on malicious kids, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school, Bullworth Academy.

Rockstar Games pick up a best script award for the game formerly known as Bully...


After the furore surrounding Rockstar Games' Canis Canem Edit eventually died down, few could argue that all the game contained was mild school ground pranks that left a warm, fuzzy feeling of nostalgia inside.

Thankfully, it seems that despite all the negative press, Canis Canem Edit has finally received the recognition that it deserves, picking up Best Videogame Script award at last night's Writer's Guild of Great Britain Awards 2007.

Nominated alongside Rockstar's return to school was their own Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Charles Cecil's Broken Sword: Angel of Death.

Xbox 360 and Wii owners will shortly have the chance to sample one of the most the award-winning script and one of the most enjoyable games we've played in years, with the release of Bully: Scholarship Edition finding its way to these formats towards the end of the year.

i heard non the x box 360 that there will be and upgrade for canis canem edit with a few extra stuff on it that is the closest that i can find out on the second one. what is with the hobo at the end when the bright light takes him ???

i heard from yahoo that it is coming out in 2008 YEARH 23 nov hope it comes out in austalia soon two thnks for that. any one can love this game even if you are a girl but when they make the new one you cant be a girl couse the story would be differen... [ Read full comment... ]
