Wrestling isn’t what it used to be, back in the days of the Big Daddy and the Giant Haystacks it was two big men going for each other, none of this soap-opera pap that seems to be the standard these days. One thing’s for sure, if the Big Daddy was still alive, The Rock would be his bitch! <br /> <br /> Realising that they don’t make wrestlers like they used to, Acclaim today announced plans to include four of the great UK wrestlers who made a name way before the WWE was even around. <br /> <br /> Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Mick McManus and Kendo Nagasaki will join the likes of Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant in Legends of Wrestling 2, when it’s released on the Playstation2, GameCube and Xbox this winter. <br /> <br /> Using archive ITV footage, Acclaim Studios, Salt Lake has re-created every minute detail giving the game a level of realism and authenticity very rarely witnessed in video games. Character intros, costumes and signature moves have all been added and, just like watching the real thing, the crowd becomes a major part of proceedings as the action heats-up. Hear the crowd chant “Easy, Easy” as Big Daddy launches into his infamous ‘Splashdown’ or bellowing jeers as Nagasaki wipes out his opponent with his rib-crushing ‘Kamikaze Crash’. <br /> <br /> “Although Legends of Wrestling II features an awesome line-up, the opportunity to sign the four greatest UK wrestlers was too good to refuse,” said Ned Browning, European Brand Manager. “Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks were two of the biggest names in UK sport during the 1980s and we're hoping their inclusion, along with Mick and Kendo will allow gamers to re-live the great days of prime-time Saturday afternoon wrestling.” <br />
