Like most people we lost interest in the Turok series after the second title, after a stunning debut on the N64 and an impressive sequel it seemed that the developers ran out of ideas and strayed away from what made the series a success too much, in particular the multiplayer orientated titles were a big disappointment. <br /> <br /> Thankfully Acclaim look to have gotten back on track with Turok Evolution, a game that stays true to the series origins i.e. big dinosaurs and big weapons. Unfortunately from our impressions at E3 the game is something of a mixed bag depending on the different formats; the Xbox version is looking very impressive however the GameCube version suffers from poor framerates and fuzzy textures, something that we hope will be improved upon before the games release on September 1st. <br /> <br /> For those Turok fans that can’t wait that long, check out the final teaser compressed to just under 2MB thanks to TVG Compression. <br />
