As the studio passes its latest milestone, Turn 10 confirms Windows Live functionality...


Turn 10, developer of the forthcoming Xbox 360 title, Forza Motorsport 2, has confirmed that the racing game will feature integrated functionality with Windows Live - specifically the uploading and viewing of images from Forza 2's Photo Mode onto the net.

Stating that the ability mirrors a similar function soon to be released in PGR3, Turn 10 Community Manager Che Chu however held back on the image restrictions of the mode.

Elsewhere, the studio announced that audio development of the game is in full swing, with Forza 2 Audio Lead Greg Shaw confirming to Chu that:

"We intend to record each type of supercharger associated with the cars in our game to accurately represent the sound in the game...This kind of accuracy is the level of detail we will deliver on in all aspects of our sound design. Superchargers are not any different. Whether the car in the game has a twin screw, roots type or custom-tuned racing centrifugal super charger installed, you can rest assured it will sound just like it does in real-life."

So expect further developments in realistic sound production when Forza 2 is released in the future.

well thats realy bad news nissan going to granny turismo i guess we will have to put up with nismo insted lol besides is it realy a big loss even though there are over 10 different nissans in fm2

I personally love this game. I agree with the anonymous comment about Mazda history. A L10A (or L10B) Cosmosport would be much appreciated.

what do people think to new body classes? such as suv or mpv or even cooler a van.... just imagine a ford transit and being able to convert the engine with a escort cosworth rs or even rediculously a ford gt. can you imagine the fun you could have... [ Read full comment... ]

where are all the older style cars? like mazda history would have been great, rx3 rx2 mybe even a 79 323 wagon, its just lame.

Man, why do you all want really bad cars...anyway, I played this this the other day, after playing the original forza (which was good but not exactly gripping) I was far more impressed with FM2. The only real annoying factor being the load times ever... [ Read full comment... ]
