More on this gameActivision today confirmed that the forthcoming PC adaptation of the popular True Crime: Streets of LA will benefit from an additional 32 new songs not featured in the console versions, from artists such as Alice in Chains, Queensryche, Spineshank and Stone Sour.
The PC game will take the driving, fighting and shooting action online with all-new multiplayer features, as well as new weapons and unlockable characters. Using either GameSpy or a Local Area Network (LAN), up to four players can join up and play any of five different multiplayer games. Using characters from the single player portion of True Crime, multiplayer gameplay will vary from the âFast and Furiousâ style of âStreet Racingâ mode, to patrolling the city and bagging the most criminals in âThe Beat.â Other games include hand-to-hand combat in âDojo Master,â slaughtering opponents with new weapons such as a rocket launcher or crossbow in âBattle Master,â and Los Angeles wouldnât be complete without a high speed car chase. In âThe Chase,â gamers can play either the police or criminal in a desperate race across Los Angeles.
Weâll have a closer look soon.
