Activision announce a PC port of its hit seller, featuring all new multiplayer bonus modes...
Activision today announced they are bringing the highly acclaimed PS2 and Xbox title âTrue Crime: Streets of LAâ to the PC. The PC version will bring a new online multiplayer experience which will include all new driving, shooting and fighting scenes for PC gamers to enjoy.
The online multiplayer experience will be played via Gamespy or a LAN network, allowing up to 4 players to join in and play a variety of bonus games.
The modes are as follows:
- Street Racing - this is racing against opponents âThe Fast and The Furiousâ style.
- The Beat - You and your fellow players battle it out to see who can lock up the most criminals.
- Dojo Master â“ You and your opponents battle it out in hand to hand combat.
- Battle Master â“ With a whole new bunch of weapons including a rocket launcher and crossbow.
- The Chase â“ Which is cops and robber style. You can give gamers a chase or you get chased by the gamers.
The single-player experience will be an exact port of the Xbox and Playstation2 versions; however itâs not yet known whether the extra weapons will feature in this mode.
