The first information on a sequel to Atlus' simply amazing Trauma Center today made its way to the internet by way of an article in Nintendo Power.

Despite a lack of information, the game known as Under The Knife 2 will allegedly introduce an easier mode for those that found the finer intricacies of the original a little too hard (boo hiss).

That's about all we know at this stage, although it has been suggested that both Dr. Derek Stiles and Nurse Angie Thompson will return after their relegation to cameo status in the Wii title Trauma Center: New Blood (yet to be released in Europe) and follow their attempts to uncover unanswered mysteries of the GUILT virus.

Of course if past Trauma Center titles are anything to go by then it will be some time before we get to see this. Let's just hope they don't make it too easy.
