ToeJam & Earl III: All Funked Up Moving To New Format News

By Mark Simons on 01/01/1970 It seems like what was destined to be one of the last Dreamcast games may not come out on the machine.

Sega fans who fondly remember the Genesis / MegaDrive will no doubt have a soft spot for ToeJam and Earl, the funky duo who made their debut on that machine. It was somewhat fitting when ToeJam & Earl 3 was announced for the Dreamcast, however it seems that the game may not make it out on possibly Sega's last ever console.

Greg Johnson of ToeJam & Earl Productions commented on recent rumours of the cancellation of the game by saying: "We will probably not be out on the DC. We will be out on other new-gen platforms. As to which ones and when, we should be able to post this on our website in a couple of weeks". This is not complete confirmation of the cancellation of the Dreamcast version of ToeJam & Earl 3 but it seems pretty certain. The only good news is that the game is definitely coming out on another formats garnering it the chance to see a wider audience.
