Eidos confirm a new 'third-person cinematic action view' for the third title in the legendary Thief series...
Eidos today confirmed that the forthcoming Xbox and PC title 'Thief: Deadly Shadows' will include what is being described as a 'third-person cinematic action view' in addition to the traditional first-person.
'Thief: Deadly Shadows' is currently in development at Ion Storm, and is the third title in the legendary series created by the now-defunct Looking Glass Studios. After some fans criticism of the 'dumbing-down'of 'Deus EX: Invisible War' for a console market, there has been some concern within the Thief community that the same will apply.
