In The Lord of the Rings: The White Council, players have the freedom to explore the open world of Tolkien's Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings, The White Council. Players can choose their role as a man, an elf, a dwarf, or a hobbit. Each role's destiny is to become a hero allied with the White Council, whose members include the famed characters Gandalf, Saruman, Galadriel, and Elrond.

EA's previously announced epic next-gen RPG is the next Lord of the Rings title...


Just to clear up any confusion surrounding yesterday's announcement of The Lord of the Rings: The White Council and EA's previously announced Project Gray - yes they are one and the same.

Given the artwork that has stemmed from Project Gray, Lord of the Rings fans could probably have taken an educated guess or been flabbergasted by the similarities between both.
