Bungie Unveiling The Supervisor On Wed??? News
More on this gameDespite the downsizing and the relatively lacklustre platform conferences, one of the more infamous events at this year's E3 2008 came in the form of an announcement from Bungie, which revealed that Microsoft had postponed the reveal of their next title, due at the 'Media & Business Summit'.
At the time, Bungie boss Harold Ryan released a statement that pretty much aired their thoughts on Microsoft's move, commenting that, "I certainly didn't agree with the decision to delay our news until sometime after E3...Bungie is always concerned first and foremost with our fans."
However, the cogs now appear to be moving, with the studio's website posting a 'transmission' between the previously hinted at 'Superintendent' and a Communications Duty Officer. Whilst it's a piece of classic Bungie teasing, the release does reveal that the Superintendent is an AI overlooking Urban Infrastructure...and it's malfunctioning.
Obviously a lot remains unexplained at the moment, not least how the UNSC - the military outfit from the Halo universe - are involved, and why they've 'archived' the transmission in the first place.
Expect more teasing in the coming weeks as Bungie continues life after Halo 3.

The only reason I frequent this site, which is rarely is because it is on my iGoogle page. Look, it is not the "supervisor". The correct name is superintendent. Make a note. S-u-p-e-r-i-n-t-e-n-d-e-n-t. The last time I read something on here, it was an extremely biased opine passing itself of as journalism. Now, you can't even get miniscule facts correct. Go figure. You guys need to turn up the professionalism just a few notches if you intend on maintaining that advertiser revenue. If not, you'll fall to the wayside of the IGN's, Gamespot's, and Joystiq's.
