Namco recently released details behind the storyline for Soul Calibur 2, plus a set of new screens. <br /> <br /> The game is set during the 16th century, a time in which the East rediscovers the West, and the West rediscovers the East. Four years have passed since a strange evil spawned from a sword, scattering the skies across Europe and slaughtering many. <br /> <br /> Rumours from the East concerning the whereabouts of Soul Edge -- the evil sword, and the Nightmare that wields it, has apparently arisen to work its will again. Meanwhile, seemingly unrelated incidents are befalling those who have fought to control or destroy Soul Edge in the past...perhaps something is drawing them all together. <br />
